Koje is one of my largest and most significant custom development projects. The platform was designed to digitize the restaurant discovery experience and provide restaurants with a dedicated online presence and tools to manage their services.
Customers can search for restaurants, cafés, and food options, explore restaurant profiles, and access digital services such as menus, reservations, and online ordering. Restaurant owners can manage their own information and services through a dedicated panel.
Koje is more than a restaurant directory. It brings restaurant discovery, customer interaction, and digital ordering services together within one platform.

The current Koje website displays restaurant search, categories, featured and newly added listings, a food magazine, and a registration process that includes review before publication.
Challenge
The main challenge was to bring multiple user types and workflows into one platform: customers searching for restaurants, diners using restaurant services, and restaurant owners managing their own pages and operations.
The platform also needed to bring restaurant profiles, digital menus, reservations, online ordering, and customer loyalty features together while keeping the experience clear for both customers and restaurant owners.
Solution
Koje was developed as a custom platform combining a public-facing website with dedicated restaurant management panels. The application uses PHP and the stated front-end technologies, with JavaScript and AJAX supporting interactive functionality.
The platform provides restaurant-specific access and management areas, with distinct user journeys for customers and restaurant owners.
